The Bicycle NSW Student Bicycle Education Program is a free online program designed to help students learn safe cycling skills. Students can complete the program on their own, in partnership with a parent/guardian or in a group classroom setting.

The Bicycle Education Program covers:

  • NSW road safety and rules
  • hazard awareness
  • riding with others
  • legal responsibilities, including what is and isn’t a legal e-bike.

The program also provides practical tips and information to improve rider experience and safety. The program is designed for all bicycle riders (including e-bikes) and a simplified version is designed for primary-aged students.
